Caroly Brewer will be speaking about her book, Changing the Tune The Kansas City Women's Jazz Festival 1978-1985 to be published by UNT Press this spring.
The lecture will be followed by a performance of the Colleen Clark Group.
Free admission.
Free parking spaces will be available in Lot 26 (Highland Street, between Bain Hall and Music Practice South) for patrons attending performances at the College of Music on weekends and after 5:00pm on weekdays. Overflow spaces will be available in Lot 4 (Chestnut Street behind Chilton Hall).
