The late great pianist, Gábor Füsti Balogh is an iconic figure in Hungarian jazz history. One of the still living legends of Hungarian jazz, bassist JÁNOS EGRI used to play in his band at the beginning of his career. It was his idea to gather the cream of the young generation in this band to pay a fitting tribute to the legacy of Füsti Balogh. Apart from Egri himself, you’ll be hearing:
BÁLINT UHER-GYŐRFI on tenor-sax
KÁLMÁN OLÁH Jr on alto-sax
JÁNOS EGRI Jr on piano, and
ANDRÁS PECEK LAKATOS on the drums.
