Harry Drabkin is a jazz saxophonist, as well as graduate and former faculty member of the Berklee College of Music. However, he subsequently became an endowed Professor of Medicine at CU and Chief of Hematology-Oncology at MUSC. After a substantial hiatus from music, he was urged by his son, singer-songwriter Rob Drabkin, to dust off his horns and get back to music. He’s performed at the main jazz venues in the Denver / Boulder area, as well as KUVO and the Five-Points Jazz Festival, often with pianist Eric Gunnison, another Berklee alumnus.
