Harvey Diamond has been described as one of the unsung heroes of the Boston jazz scene since the mid-1960's. He was among Lennie Tristano's (one of the great original improvisers who played with such luminaries as Dizzy Gillespie and Charlie Parker in the 1940's) last students in the 1970's, and has done concert appearances with NEA Jazz Masters Sheila Jordan and Art Farmer. Legendary within the jazz community, Harvey plays with a rare combination of technique, intellect, subtlety and heart.

Jon Dreyer is a Boston-area bassist and cellist. In addition to performing frequently with Diamond, he plays regularly with pianist/saxophonist/bandleader/composer James Merenda, both as a member of his band TickleJuice and also in more mainstream jazz settings.
