Hep Kids Jazz for Families at Hochstein School of Music

Started in 2012, HEP KIDS provides a day of fun and music for families with children ages 2-12 with an emphasis on jazz. This year the HEP KIDS event will be held on Saturday, June 28th from 10am-1pm at Hochstein School of Music & Dance.

HEP KIDS is designed to provide families with an opportunity to have quality time together while enjoying jazz music, learning about instruments, creating musical crafts, presentations by community partners and much more for a very reasonable ticket price (max. $10/family)!

There will be 3 half hour jazz-influenced programs and activities in Hochstein’s Performance Hall featuring: the Three Bellas jazz trio, Harley School’s Terry Smith with Bassist Kieran Hanlon, and Hochstein’s Music Lab director Chris Witulski. Other performances throughout the building includes: a Rhythm Drum Jam with Hochstein’s Expressive Arts Department and the Hochstein Jazz Ensemble led by the Mambo King’s Richard DeLaney.

Ticket costs: $3 per child, $5 per adult, and $10 per family. They are available at the door. Children 2 and under are admitted free of charge.
