Honk, Wail & Moan cross paths with the music of Sun Ra, Charles Mingus, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Frank Zappa, Raymond Scott, Lightnin Hopkins, Howlin Wolf and Igor Stravinsky and are influenced by Avant Garde to New Orleans, Traditional to Film scores and Cartoon music. HWM mainly perform the original music of our members, especially the late Brian A Casey and the late Mark B Greenwood, alongside favorites by Charles Mingus, Sun Ra and other members of the band.
