The 30th of April has become a must for jazz musicians and aficionados since 2011, when UNESCO designated it as International Jazz Day. For the second consecutive year, this showcase will present some of Montreal's musical treasures:

• The Jazzamboka collective, winner of the Place Des Arts award and the CIBL Radio award in 2014 at the «Vitrine Des Musiques Locales Métissées» showcase, and winner of six awards at the Festival Vue Sur La Relève in 2015. Jazzamboka will invite to join them one of the most sought-after jazz saxophonists on the Montreal scene, Jean-Pierre Zanella, who received the prestigious Oscar Peterson Award at the Montreal International Jazz Festival in 2011.

• In addition, the evening will feature an exhibition of jazz-inspired photos by Montreal photographer Randy Cole, starting at 6 pm.
