Brazilian singer Ithamara Koorax pays tribute to her mentor and artistic godmother, Elizeth Cardoso, who paved the way to bossa nova through her groundbreaking album "Canção do Amor Demais" (that featured, for the very first time, Joao Gilberto's bossa beat on the guitar) and the soundtrack to the landmark movie "Black Orpheus", on which Elizeth sang Luiz Bonfa's tune "Manha de Carnaval".
Ithamara will be backed by arranger/pianist Ze Maria Rocha (who worked for 22 years with Maria Bethania), bassist Ze Luiz Maia and drummer Cesar Machado.
