Jacob Soucy is a Canadian trumpet player, composer, and producer based in Toronto.

While currently based in Toronto, Ontario, Soucy first laid roots in British Columbia, growing up in Vancouver and Vernon. Soucy was awarded an Outstanding Soloist Award at the University of Idaho Lionel Hampton International Jazz Festival in 2016, The Best Brass Player Award at the BC Interior Jazz Festival in 2016, and a scholarship from the Vernon Jazz Society in 2017.
Set to record his first EP and finish his music degree in 2023, Jacob looks to integrate into Toronto’s live music scene with his sextet, performing original compositions as well as arrangements of popular and standard songs.
