JAZZ VOCAL COLLECTIVE (JVC) is a small jazz ensemble that features solo voice and a rhythm section (e.g. piano, guitar, bass, and drums) and horns to create a collaborative musical experience. Under the direction of Dr. Trineice Robinson-Martin, the Jazz Vocal Collective’s fall concert will celebrate life, love, and culture through diverse musical styles and composers. The concert will feature compositions by Dizzy Gillespie, Rogers & Hart, Gigi Gryce, Mongo Santamaria, Esperanza Spalding, Laufey Lin, Toby Fox, and much more.
