This is a cappella for NOW! Vox One combines elements of blues, funk, gospel and folk into their own brand of “adventurous and distinctive” vocal music (San Francisco Examiner). Concert selections may include rhythmic Indian music, “Danny Boy” and other traditional repertoire, blues standards and R&B songs like “Respect,” and previews from an upcoming Christmas album. Their
meticulous arrangements, lush voicings and reharmonizations – including vocal versions of drums, bass, horns and guitar – give familiar pieces such as “Edelweiss” a new twist.
