Jazz Revelations at Rhode Island Shriners Center

Closing the 2014 series will be The What’s Happenin’ Band, with Ben Marcoux on alto sax, Leland Baker on tenor, Mark Berney on trumpet, Sam Parker on piano, Alex Tremblay on upright bass, and Mike Dick on drums. Joining them will be The Dave Murphy Quartet with Dave Murphy on alto sax, Geno Rosati on guitar, Steve Johnson on bass, and Matt Walshe on drums. Both groups will be playing their own modern compositions, along with a selection of jazz standards.
Pub food will be served 5-9 pm, and a full-service bar will be open from 5-10p.
