After the restilying in 2008 and the wide success in 2009 both in quality and attendance reply, jazz music comes back in Monteroduni during a week full of great projects.

As well as Munch loved to merge different nature and light intensity colors, the organization group undertook to “paint” a program with a number of concerts of different “colors” but even resulting in a compact overall of music of matchless level.

The main novelty of this edition is the theme of the events, which has allowed to develop a program where the heterogeneity of concerts works as counterpart to the incomparable level of artists.

It’s hard to find a show where it’s possible to travel through the enthralling energy of the virtuoso guitar of Greg Howe, going to the dandling notes of the legendary guitarist Jim Hall; sliding through the refined Italian jazz musicians Rosario Giuliani and Dado Moroni directly to the blind fury of Peter “Machine-Gun” Brotzmann. The heterogeneity is even set by combining well-known and established names (like Hall, Howe, Brotzman) with young talents like Luigi Di Nunzio and Giordano Carnevale.

Being a spectator is like listening at those old fairy-tales that, though well-known stories, always save wonderful surprises.
