Jim PepperFest 2013 will be both retrospective of Portlander Jim Pepper, pioneer into fusion jazz (Larry Coryell will reunite Free Spirits on 2 of 4 nights), AND a showcase of contemporary native music. Joy Harjo, John Trudell and Pura Fé all have jazz/blues influences. All are all important performers in a culture that remains under-served by mainstream media.

Many will be willing to travel to this 600-seat venue.
