Jocelyn Gould is a fast rising star on the guitar. Passionate about the history of jazz guitar, Jocelyn has carved out a unique voice on the instrument, full of soul, taste, and intention. In 2016 Gould bid goodbye to hometown Winnipeg and relocated to New York City, developing the artistic profile that's given her international exposure at renowned jazz clubs and such events as the Detroit, Toronto, and St. Lucia Jazz Festivals. Gould is thrilled to be leading a quartet in Winnipeg for the first time since moving away. Debut album “Elegant Traveller” is her musical reflection on the past several years — times of poignancy, soul-searching, and growth. Will Bonness (piano), Julian Bradford (bass), and Fabio Ragnelli (drums) will be joining Jocelyn Gould on stage for this special hometown CD celebration.
