The Jonas Duo blends elements of classical music with the distinctive sounds of jazz, through reinterpretations of classical works (by Liszt, Chopin, Paganini, Kovács Béla, Bartók, Verdi) and original compositions by Jónás Rezső.

Jónás Dániel is a clarinetist who has won numerous national and international clarinet competitions. Among his achievements are 1st place at the National Weiner Leo Memorial Competition, 1st place at the XII. National Clarinet Competition, and a special award for excellence. Jónás Rezső, an award-winning jazz pianist and composer, is the recipient of the Ablakos Lakatos Dezső Prize, the MÜPA Composer Competition Award, and the MÜPA Jazz Showcase. He represents the young generation of Hungarian jazz. He has performed with musicians such as Dave Holland, László Attila, Bart De Nolf, Bruno Castellucci, and Julian Siegel.

He continued his studies at the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music and the Royal Academy of Music, earning his Master's degree at the Liszt Academy.
