Jorginho Neto has a degree in music from Faculdade Souza Lima, where he was both a scholarship recipient and coordinator of the Big Band Souza Lima. At the young age of 18, Jorginho enrolled in the former Universidade Livre de Música (U.L.M.) and began his studies with the renowned trombone professor Walter Azevedo, graduating at the age of 22. After winning several soloist competitions, Jorginho was mentored by the legendary trombonist Raul de Souza, with whom he performed various shows at SESC Belenzinho and SESC Pompéia, in addition to musical collaborations.
