On Thursday, September 10, 2015 The Jazz Arts Foundation and the Lexington Public Library continue their "Jazz: Live at the Library!" series of monthly concerts at the Central Library Theatre, 140 East Main St. in downtown Lexington.
Pianist Joshua Espinoza makes the first of several appearances as acting Music Director, creating and performing his arrangements for a series of tribute concerts. In September, the Jazz Piano Heroes show will feature the music of Bill Evans, Ahmad Jamal, Thelonious Monk, Oscar Peterson and more. Joining Josh; Danny Cecil is on bass and Dave McWhorter, on the drums.
