Katie Ernst Presents Little Words at Studio5 Performaing Arts Center

Katie Ernst in concert. Jazz bassist, vocalist, and composer Katie Ernst sets Dorothy Parker’s poetry to music in her project “Little Words.” The Chicago Tribune hails it as “an ethereal, oft-haunting suite... a gentle, disarming work that stands out for its intimacy in an often-raucous world." This project debuted in 2014 at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and has been performed at gallery spaces and performing art centers across the country. This concert will be recorded live for Chicago Jazz Live on WDCB.
