Saxophonist and top-selling instrumentalist Kenny G rose to fame in the mid-1980's with his signature smooth jazz sound, but he was just warming up! He has dominated the airwaves since, selling more than 12 million copies of his album Breathless in the United States alone and winning a Grammy two years later for the track "Forever in Love". Not content with the music industry's top honor, in 1997 he added a Guinness World Record to his resume for the longest note recorded on a saxophone (45 minutes and 47 seconds).
