This performance is a celebration of music and dance.  La Candela (from Spanish, fire or flame) brings the essence of fiery flamenco, Latin jazz, and world music.  La Candela Flamenco was founded and is directed by dancer Ania “La Candela”.  Ania is an internationally renowned flamenco dancer based in Atlanta, GA.  Over the years she trained with Spain’s top flamenco artists.  When studying at the Centro de Arte y Flamenco de Sevilla, Ania was fondly called “Rubia de la Candela,” a nickname that represents Ania’s dancing; passionate and mesmerizing.
