Rachael Cohen is one the most sought-after players on the London jazz scene. Her critically-acclaimed debut album ‘Halftime’ in 2012, on Michael Janisch’s Whirlwind Recordings, gained her a reputation as one of the premier new voices of her generation in the UK’s jazz and improvised music scene.
Rachael continues to be one of the brightest stars of her generation and a mainstay of London's most prestigious jazz clubs. She is considered one of the best proponents of the ‘cool school’ of players, whose performances 'always create an atmosphere and climate of positivity and energy'.
