Latin Jazz Night at Southminster United Church

A truly LATIN JAZZ NIGHT will be hosted in Ottawa Centretown –in the Glebe area.
When: Thursday October 2nd at 7:00 pm
Where: Southminster United Church 15 Aylmer Ave (Old Ottawa South) intersection with Bank Street. K1S 3X1

The program for the concert will comprise a mixture of traditional and modern Latin melodies and showcase the unique Cuban flavors of jazz harmony and improvisation. Miguel will be joined by talented collaborators Michel Medrano on drums, Marc Decho on bass, and Arien Villegas playing congas and additional percussion. Their set list will include works by famous composers such as Antonio Carlos Jobim, Thelonius Monk and Herbie Hancock, traditional Cuban works, and modern compositions by Miguel de Armas himself.
