Saxophonist Marco Pignataro's Almas Antiguas Quartet featuring pianist Laszlo Gardony will perform an evening of modern jazz with Latin, Mediterranean and Folk influences. Mr. Pignataro is an accomplished performer and Managing Director of the Berklee Global Jazz Institute. Mr. Gardony’s new solo album, Serious Play, was named one of the 10 Best Jazz Albums of 2017 by the Boston Globe. Two of Boston’s emerging jazz stars, drummer Lee Fish and bassist Jared Henderson, round out the quartet. The Woods Hole Jazz series on Cape Cod is celebrating its 40th year.
