Saxophonist Marcus Miller and his band, Wave Music, perform at a free lunchtime concert at the Gateway Center. Miller began playing professionally at 13, earning praise from legends like Wynton Marsalis. Instead of attending a music school or conservatory, he went to Harvard University and studied mathematics. After several years working on the production side of the industry, he picked up his saxophone and returned to the stage at Carnegie Hall. He has played with Cyrus Chestnut, Herbie Hancock, and George Clinton, among others.
