Donna Byrne is a masterful singer who has performed with such renowned artists as: Sir Richard Rodney Bennett, Herb Pomeroy, Dave McKenna, Dick Johnson, Frank Wess, Stanley Turrentine, Scott Hamilton, Bucky Pizzarelli, Ken Peplowski, Bill Cunliffe, Harry Allen, Gray Sargent, Carmen Cicero, Dave Frishberg, Eddie Higgins, James Williams and The Artie Shaw Orchestra. She has opened for such performers as Lou Rawls, Bob Newhart and was recently invited by the great Tony Bennett to open for him on his national tour (the “thrill of a lifetime” for Donna). Her unforgettable performances have entertained audiences from L.A. to London, wowing audiences at such venues as: Blue Note Jazz Club, Tavern on the Green, Blues Alley, Scullers, Regattabar, Jazz Bakery, The Rainbow Room, and London’s Pizza on the Park. ABOUT MARSHALL WOOD
Marshall Wood has a 40-year career in jazz. Over the years, he has worked with and learned from some of the greatest jazz masters in the world, including Tony Bennett, Anita O'Day, Joe Pass, Gray Sargent, Dizzy Gillespie, Clark Terry, Joe Williams, Phil Woods, Dorothy Donegan, Big Joe Turner, Scott Hamilton, and a host of others. His credits include recordings made with Carol Sloane, Anita O’Day, Scott Hamilton, Dave McKenna, Tommy Flanagan, Bucky Pizzarelli, Michael Moore, George Masso and Donna Byrne, among others. Since May 2009, Marshall has been Tony Bennett’s recording and touring bassist. He has traveled all over the world, appearing in all of the major jazz festivals in North America, Europe and Asia and on many major network television shows. He also has recorded two Grammy-winning records with Tony Bennett and a host of duet partners.
