Screening of award-winning documentary Mary Lou Williams: The Lady Who Swings the Band. The film tells the story of the brilliant jazz pianist, composer and arranger who helped shape the sound of the 20th century. The program will also feature a live performance by an all-star jazz combo and a Q&A with Producer/Director Carol Bash.
