Jazz quartet Bassoon in the Wild will perform pieces by Duke Ellington, Miles Davis and John Coltrane as part of Jazz Appreciation Month. Each composition will be preceded by a brief history of the composer and their significance in influencing future generations of jazz artists. Also to include a desscription of the bassoon and how it differs from other instruments normally associated with jazz.
