In this special concert, accomplished jazz pianist MICHAEL ECKROTH makes his FIU debut in his new position as assistant professor in a performance with the FIU JAZZ BIG BAND and FACULTY JAZZ ENSEMBLE for what will be an unforgettable evening. Eckroth is a pianist/arranger for the Cuban ensemble Orquesta Akokan, whose 2018 debut album received a Grammy Nomination.
