The Uptown Art Expo presents one of the most recognizable saxophonists in the US, Mindi Abair has sold a half million records as a solo artist, and has been the featured saxophonist on American Idol for the 2011 and 2012 seasons.
Over the past 2 years she has toured the US with Aerosmith, sat in for a night with Bruce Springsteen at the famed Beacon Theater and even taken the saxophone chair over for 2 shows with Paul Shaffer and the Late Show with David Letterman. As a solo artist, she has carved out her own brand as the rocker of the jazz world, and she adds a refreshingly unique voice to an exciting new generation of crossover artists.
