Mmere Dane Group at Rhode Island Shriners Center

The Mmere Dané Group formed in June of 2014. The Group started with a bang, sharing the stage with jazz drummer Adam Nussbaum at the Spot Underground. Since then, they have been performing in Rhode Island and Massachusetts with acts like Snarky Puppy, the Nth Power, The Fringe, The Jerry Bergonzi Group, and many more. An album is being recorded so keep an eye out.

The Group’s music can be described as soulful jazz touched by textures of world music. The feeling taken from funk is always there, and the time flows like the hourglass that symbolizes "Mmere Dane”.
