The Barefield-McMurray-Young-Keita Quartet performs works by giants of jazz in a celebration of Black History Month in a magnificent mansion in Detroit's historic Palmer Woods neighborhood. Guitarist A.Spencer Barefield, saxophonist Dave McMurray, bassist Dave Young & drummer Djallo Keita are masters with international recognition. The concert includes works by Duke Ellington, Billie Srayhorn, Oscar Peterson, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk & other greats. A soul-inspired buffet is included.
