Richard Barone's MUSIC + REVOLUTION students from the School of Jazz & Contemporary Music at The New School will take the historic Bitter End stage to perform songs from the songwriters they have studied — legends who shook the world with their words and music in the 1960s and created one of the most important musical movements in American history.In the 1960s, a new wave of Greenwich Village songwriters and performers, inspired by the folk music revival, jazz, and Beat poetry, created socially aware and deeply personal music that spoke to a generation like never before.
