Pablo Castillo (Barbate, Cadiz, 1996). He studied professional music at the Conservatorio Manuel de Falla with Lipi Calvo. He completed his training at the Centro de Arte y Música Moderna de Málaga (CAAM), where he received lessons and advice from musicians such as Julián Sánchez, Enrique Oliver and Pedro Cortejosa.He then moved to Amsterdam, where he studied for a master's degree in performance at the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam for four years, graduating with distinction in 2022. He studied with such masters as Terell Stafford, John Clayton, Gerard Clayton, Gregory Hutchinson, Mark Turner, Jeremy Pelt and Jarmo Hoogendijk, among others.In August 2022, he recorded his first album as leader, Introducing Pablo Castillo, which was released by The Changes label on 21 April 2023.In addition to his album as leader of his own quartet, he has collaborated as a sideman on numerous albums by other artists, and has shared the stage with such outstanding musicians as John Clayton, Gerald Clayton, Peter Beets, John Engels and Enrique Oliver, among others....
