Pablo Masis has appeared across the United States and Europe including New York, Seattle, Portland, Omaha, New Orleans, Washington DC, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Poland. He has also performed with acts such as Michael Buble, Josh Groban, Gladys Knight, and The Temptations. He attended the Betty Carter Jazz Ahead Residency at the Kennedy Center in 2007 and also participated in the Banff Centre’s Workshop in Jazz and Creative Music in 2009, led by Dave Douglas.

Since moving to New York City he has become an active freelancer and educator, and has performed at local venues including Joe’s Pub, The Blue Note, Arlene’s Grocery, The Baryshnikov Arts Center, The Waldorf Astoria, Music Hall of Williamsburg, Irving Plaza, Shapeshifter Lab, and The Cornelia Street Cafe, among others....

In addition to his own group showcasing Pablo’s original music around New York City, he has performed with a variety of New York-based ensembles including Kyle Saulnier’s Awakening Orchestra, Bobby Sanabria’s Multiverse Big Band, The David White Jazz Orchestra, and the Bone Chimes.

Pablo currently lives in Brooklyn, where he maintains a studio of private students along with a teaching position with the Brooklyn Conservatory’s Music Partners Program.

Boiler Grand Hall is located on the third floor of the Grand Manse building at 129 North 10th Street in downtown Lincoln, NE. Enter through the northeast doors and go through the second set of double doors. Take the elevator to the third floor and you’ve arrived!
