Per is an active performer\, appearing often as a guest artist\, soloist\, clinician\, and sideman\, nationally and internationally. He holds the position of Associate Professor of Jazz Studies at the University of Central Florida in Orlando\, Florida. In addition\, Per is active in jazz education outreach. He has served on the Presidential advisory board of the Jazz Education Network and is currently Artistic Director of the American Jazz Pianist Competition. His career has included performances with many leading jazz artists and entertainers such as Louis Bellson\, Clark Terry\, Bob Brookmeyer\, Randy Brecker\, Danny Gottlieb to mention a few. Per is a proud member of Chuck Owenโs innovative and 7 time Grammy nominated big band\, The Jazz Surge. He has also performed with Swedish jazz legends Arne Domnerus and Jan Allan. His latest project\, Timeless Moments was recorded in Sweden and can be heard on all streaming platforms. The CD includes mostly original compositions and features two prominent swedish musicians\, Hans Backenroth on bass and Joakim Ekberg on drums. Per can be heard on recordings with Chuck Owen and the Jazz Surge\, The UCF Jazz Professors and his trio CD\, Time Will Tell.Sarah Whittemore originally hails from Greensboro\, North Carolina. Growing up\, her passion and talent for singing was apparent\, whether in touring childrenโs choirs\, cantering at church\, or singing in her own jazz trio. For the past 18 years\, she has called Central Florida her home\, establishing herself as a premiere live and studio vocalist. Sarahโs signature silky sound can be heard in the world-renowned A cappella group\, Voctave. Sarahโs other A cappella accolades stem from her time spent with the Voices of Liberty at Walt Disney World. Sarah is a highly sought after entertainer\, lending her velvety vocals as a guest artist with the Orlando Philharmonic\, the Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra\, and as a featured soloist at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. While Sarah loves live performance\, her talents extend to the studio as well. She has made a name for herself as a veteran of the session world\, singing for hundreds of projects.
