Combining progressive rock, world music and jazz, the band's 50-year career includes a respectable 19 studio albums and hundreds of concerts in Finland and around the world. The band has previously been seen on the main stages of Ruisrock, Provinssirock, Pori Jazz and Roskilde.
Piirpauke plays on the Musine stage as a quartet, as did in the early years of the band. There will be virtuoso interpretations of the band's classic songs.

Vuonna 1974 perustettua Piirpauketta pidetään yhtenä ensimmäisistä merkittävistä maailmanmusiikkiyhtyeistä. Progressiivista rockia, maailmanmusiikkia ja jazzia yhdistelevän bändin 50-vuotiseen uraan mahtuu kunnioitettavat 19 studioalbumia sekä satoja konsertteja Suomessa ja ympäri maailmaa. Yhtye on nähty aikaisemmin mm. Ruisrockin, Provinssirockin ja Pori Jazzin päälavoilla sekä Roskildessa.
Piirpauke nousee Musinen lavalle kvartettina, jossa se totuttiin näkemään myös yhtyeen alkuvuosina. Luvassa on taiturimaisia tulkintoja yhtyeen klassikkokappaleista, kuten kestohitti Konevitsan kirkonkellot, joka on edelleenkin vakiosisältöä kaikissa radioiden toivekonserteissa.
