The third and final free event during Art Porter Music Education's 2017 "A Work of Art" celebration (various free and ticketed events to be held at six different Little Rock venues from Monday, 31 July through Saturday, 5 August) is the annual Porter Players Jam. The session (which begins at 7 p.m. on Thursday, 4 August at 109 & Co. in downtown Little Rock) will include performances by accomplished musicians connected to Art Porter, Sr. and/or Art Porter, Jr. (1994 and 1998 inductees into the Arkansas Jazz Hall of Fame).
