Dave Tull has long been known as one of the worlds finest jazz drummers. Over the last decade he has built a reputation as a gifted jazz singer and songwriter. Daves songs, often infused with humor, are written in the American songbook style new standards waiting to be discovered! Daves newest CD, Texting and Driving was released in March of 2018 to rave reviews. Dave was featured on NPR in an interview with Weekend Editions Susan Stamberg, and Texting and Driving reached #5 on Billboards Jazz Album chart. Though he resides in the LA area, Dave has performed in Portland several times with vocalist Rebecca Kilgore. They will be joined by George Mitchell on piano, and Tom Wakeling on bass. Each vocalist sings individually and it's a special treat when they perform duets.

Classic Pianos is becoming a sought-after venue for local performances and as part of the Portland Jazz Festival. They claim: The Recital Hall has been engineered for ideal sound and recording properties. It is fully air conditioned, seating 100 guests in padded chairs.
