About
The saxophonist Rita Ferreira, native from Maranhão (northeast of Brazil), will present a program of classic Bossa-nova and Samba-canções (samba songs). Rita works with a traditional repertoire, but explores jazzy arrangements and conceptions. The quartet consists of tenor sax (Rita Ferreira), percussion (Thomas Castro), acoustic guitar (Richard Miller) and bass (José Moura).
