Jazz Bassist Ron Carter will be honored at Ethical Culture on May 19. Jon Batiste is presenting Maestro Carter with The Measures of Hope award after his set. Batiste was a former student of Carter’s and the award is given through Counseling In Schools, a non-profit organization with 35 years of experience supporting the emotional and social well-being of New York City public school communities through the arts.
