Rose Moraes Trio: "forro For All" at Montpelier Arts Center

Hailing from south of Sao Paulo, charismatic vocalist Rose Moraes has entertained thousands of music lovers with her “Roots of Brazil” concerts. She has performed widely in Switzerland, Poland, Brazil, and the U.S., where she now resides.

She will be accompanied by accordionist Rob Curto, originally from New York City. Curto, an important Forró ambassador in the U.S., has introduced many music lovers to the Northeastern Brazilian Music. He was an original member of the band Forró in the Dark with Mauro Refosco (David Byrne, Red Hot Chili Peppers) and Smokey Hormel (Beck).
