Sal Hughes, Jazz Piano, Live On August 25, 7:30 Pm at Seacoast Jazz Society Online Lecture Series

Sal will be performing an intimate set of solo jazz piano, including classic jazz standards, compositions from legendary jazz artists, and some of his original compositions.

Best known for his jazz and improvisational skills, he has been playing professionally in the Seacoast area since age 15. He has regularly performed at Rudi's in Portsmouth and Caffe Prego in Ogunquit, as well as at The Dance Hall in Kittery and Blue Mermaid in Portland. At age 21, he recruited some of the area's finest musicians to record an original album entitled, 'Between Worlds', with one of the tracks being selected for the Seacoast's Jazz Compilation Project, 'A Tiny Bit Huge'.
