4pm Debut concert of the Triangle Traditional Jazz Society featuring Mike Sailors and the Second Line Stompers
Mike Sailors is from NYC, originally from NC. He is a trumpeter, orchestrator, band leader and player with the Hot Sardines, a traditional Jazz Band, who performed for the NC Symphony Summerfest at Koka Booth this past summer. Afterwards there is a Jazz Jam and presentation about the technique of traditional jazz by Sailors and the band. $10. Open to all. Snacks and bar available.
