This year, the Paris Downtown Big Band decided to give this concert for the benefit of ADOSM-Entraide Marine, a recognized organization of public utility and which works to accompany sailors injured or in difficulty, their families or their orphaned children.

Le Paris Downtown propose un répertoire jazz protéiforme: swing, blues, dixie, latin jazz, bebop, funk ou rock. Habitué de la Chapelle des Lombards, ce groupe a déjà organisé de nombreux meetings de big bands, notamment avec l’Edinburgh University Jazz Orchestra ou encore l’AGV Big Band de Munich.

Cette formation participe tous les ans à la Journée Internationale du Jazz avec des artistes comme China Moses, Lou Tavano ou Adèle Belmont... Le Paris Downtown a travaillé avec des musiciens de jazz provenant d’univers diversifiés comme Nicolas Folmer, Franck Nicolas, Mario Canonge, Jean-Pierre Como, Sylvain Beuf, etc.

Cette année, le Paris Downtown Big Band a décidé de donner ce concert au profit de l'ADOSM-Entraide Marine, une association reconnue d'utilité publique et qui oeuvre pour accompagner les marins blessés ou en difficulté, leur famille ou encore leurs enfants orphelins.
