SONO FIGURES SOCIETY is a Copenhagen based group out of the Norwegian composer, musician and puppeteer Marte Røyeng, German vocalist, puppeteer and puppet maker Sarah Buchner and Danish-American Textile / Costume Designer and puppet maker Nat Johns.They met over their shared fascination for contemporary puppet theater and experimental sound, aiming to contribute through cross-disciplinary artistic innovation within the Nordic scene for experimental music and theater. Aesthetically dedicated towards punk surrealism their work explores different methods to connect sound and puppet – from improvisation, to composed theater, and extended musical composition. The group is on a long term journey to research what different meanings the term sound-puppetry can hold, engaging in a from-scratch practice that includes building their own puppets and stage designs. ●Ephemeral Fragments ●
Ephemeral Fragments is an electro-acoustic improvisation trio based in Essen, Cologne and Berlin. Following their meeting at an ad hoc concert in 2019, Florian Walter, Emily Wittbrodt and Korhan Erel decided to build up on the common language they created during their first concert and embarked on a period of rehearsals, concerts and recording sessions throughout 2020. The three musicians, who are successfully and internationally active in multidisciplinary projects, contribute to the total sound by interpreting the potentials of their individual “home” genres, but without confining themselves in their respective borders. Their music is characterized by an enormous density of textures and depth in sound without wandering too far away from a solid sense of control and reduction. Ephemeral fragments released their first album "Mit Gefühl" in 2022 on Umland records- "Mit Gefühl" has been picked for the album of the month (Febrary 2022) by The Attic Magazine.

SONO FIGURES SOCIETY er en København-baseret projekt bestående af den norske komponist, musiker og dukkefører Marte Røyeng, den tyske vokalist, dukkefører og dukkemager Sarah Buchner og den dansk-amerikanske tekstil- / kostumedesigner og dukkemager Nat Johns. De mødtes gennem en fælles fascination for moderne dukketeater og eksperimentel lyd med det formål at bidrage til den nordiske scene for eksperimentel musik og teater gennem tværfaglig kunstnerisk innovation. Æstetisk dedikeret til punk surrealisme udforsker deres arbejde forskellige metoder til at forbinde lyd og dukker - fra improvisation til komponeret teater og udvidet musikalsk komposition. Gruppen er på en langvarig rejse for at undersøge, hvilke forskellige betydninger termen lyd-dukketeater kan have, og engagerer sig i en praksis fra bunden af gennem at bygge deres egne dukker og scenografi. De debuterede i København med deres første stykke 'Kumulus Morpho', hvor de viste en ‘larger-than-life’-figur på Bådteatret i Nyhavn i april 2023.

Ephemeral Fragments er en elektro-akustisk improvisationstrio baseret i Essen, Köln og Berlin. De tre musikere, der er succesfulde og internationalt aktive i multidisciplinære projekter, bidrager til den samlede lyd ved at tolke potentialet i deres individuelle musikalske hjemmebaner, men uden at begrænse sig til deres respektive grænser. Deres musik er kendetegnet ved en enorm tæthed af teksturer og dybde i lyden uden at bevæge sig for langt væk fra en solid følelse af kontrol og reduktion. Ephemeral Fragments udgav deres første album "Mit Gefühl" i 2022 på Umland Records - "Mit Gefühl" blev valgt til albummet for måneden (februar 2022) af The Attic Magazine.
