Every Sunday and Monday, the Rhumerie invites you to a jazz evening, thus reconnecting with the tradition of the district of the 1950s, and offers a selection of rums and Caribbean gastronomy (+1€ increase per drink on concert days ).Scottish-American Ali is a stalwart of vocal-centric ‘old time’ jazz and blues.Arriving in Edinburgh fresh from her old home in New Orleans, Ali found a Scotland where no-one under the age of 60 was singing old jazz and ‘classic’ blues repertoire…fast forward 12 years and she earned her place as doyenne of the scene. Ali performs year round at jazz festivals and swing dance events such as Ascona, hot jubilee has.
