The first installment of the South End Jazz Series sold out the historic Trolley Museum on Camden Avenue. 'Once a month we transform the space into a jazz café,' says series organizer Narcel Reedus. 'There is something magical about the experience of live jazz and we are proud to bring that special experience to South End.'

There is something sweet in the sound of live jazz drifting along the summer night in Historic South End. Jones will make the curious stop and stare. Once he gets going it's hard to tell whether he's playing the sax or the sax is playing him. The music bends and twists his body; it is as much an electric dance as it is a musical performance. Jones commands his horn to speak and in turn his horn moves him feverishly and rhythmically. The blistering power Jones delivers through his horn is an amazing experience to witness and it is matched only by the tender whispers of his ballads.
