Every day, every resident of Toronto engages in a personal way with the massive, collaborative art project that is our city. In our concert, 'What is Toronto?', seven Toronto composers focus on small, intimate snapshots of life in the city. Each piece isolates a symbolic event or place; put together, they draw an outline of life in the city today and throughout history. The performance will be curated by Toronto historians and civic thinkers.
