New York, NY – Since March 2009, Arts for Art (AFA) had presented The Evolving Music / Evolving Voice Series with 3 or 4 shows each week to build awareness and understanding of creative jazz and related expressive movements. While strengthening the ties of community amongst artists and public, the series has/is exposing artists and audiences to the range of creative possibilities and eclectic selection of NYC’s innovative musicians.

MUSIC NEEDS A HOME - To help AFA secure a permanent space for the Arts, in the Lower East Side, at Clemente Soto Velez Cultural Center - please sign our petition http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/help-afa-secure-a-place-for-the-arts/. This is the first step to make much needed affordable space for innovative music available in the LES in this city owned building.
